Savannah Pre-Schoolers Septych

Working on larger canvasses has always been a dream which has finally come through with this very first septych piece.

Here we have 3 pre-schoolers from the Savannah desert enjoying the innocence of childhood together...

Each piece is made of solid pine that was painted, lacquered and pyro-engraved and the design was applied in parts over a gesso'ed surface. They were then hinged together at the back, leaving you to decide whether you wish to hang the piece flat on your wall or as a stand-alone piece over the mantle piece or on the coffee table. Whichever way you wish to display it, it will make a lovely conversation piece!
